The School is honoured to have invited various renowned artists to teach courses in Chinese Calligraphy and Chinese Painting. Students can choose from a range of courses according to their own skill levels.

Chinese Calligraphy courses cover Standard Script, Running Script, Clerical Script, Seal Script and Cursive Script. Chinese Painting courses are categorised into three main areas based on the subject matter: landscape, flower and bird, and figures. Students are advised to take Chinese Calligraphy courses as well to enhance their skills in the drawing of lines. 

In addition to short courses, the School offers three part-time diploma programmes in Chinese art: Diploma in Chinese Calligraphy, Diploma in Chinese Painting, and Diploma in Chinese Calligraphy and Chinese Painting Studies.

Landscape painting occupies a very important position in the history of Chinese painting。

From the germination of the Wei, Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties to the maturity of the Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties, landscape painting developed to modern times, in the context of the integration of Chinese and Western times, the forms and expressions are increasingly rich。

Gongbi is a technique of Traditional Chinese painting, using neat and meticulous techniques to depict objects。The instructor will teach the development, painting characteristics and techniques of traditional meticulous figure painting by explaining, analyzing and demonstrating the works of famous artists in past dynasties。This course is a basic course, suitable for beginners of figure painting who have some basic knowledge of other fine brushwork subjects。Prepare materials and tools by yourself。
